Gameweek 12 saw this column score 5 clean sheets and 2 assists while averaging 4 Pts Per Player.
GOALKEEPER: Asmir Begovic, 34.4% owned, Swansea City Vs AFC Bournemouth.
Opponents Swansea City are in terrible form and have lost 6/7 home games this season, failing to score in 4 of those matches.
DEFENDERS: Adam Smith, 2.4% owned, Swansea City Vs AFC Bournemouth.
No defender in the Premier League had more than Smith’s 5 assists last season and with Simon Francis suspended Smith is set to be back in the Cherries lineup for GW13.
Davinson Sánchez, 16.7% owned, Tottenham Hotspur Vs West Bromwich Albion.
Unless Pochettino changes formation and throws an Eric Dier shaped curve ball Sánchez is expected to be a fixture in the Spurs backline until Toby Alderweireld returns from injury. West Brom have only scored once in their last 4 away trips.
Christian Kabasele, 1.2% owned, Newcastle United Vs Watford.
Watford look capable of beating Newcastle on their own patch and the Geordies have failed to score in 42% of their games this season.
MIDFIELDERS: Manuel Lanzini, 27.5% owned, West Ham United Vs Leicester City.
David Moyes’ first home game in charge is live on Sky Sports on Friday night. The Hammers have had 3 out of their last 4 League matches on TV and have lost all 3. Fans will be looking to Lanzini to perform on the big stage this week.
Xherdan Shaqiri, 19.9% owned, Crystal Palace Vs Stoke City.
Swiss International Shaqiri is in his best form since joining the Potters. In his last 8 games he has 2 goals & 5 assists. If he’s still available get him. Now.
Matt Ritchie, 14.6% owned, Newcastle United Vs Watford.
Ritchie was unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions in the Magpies previous home game against Bournemouth in GW10. He remains the most likely player to inspire this stuttering Newcastle team.
Andrew Surman, 2% owned, Swansea City Vs AFC Bournemouth.
Nobody has more fantasy points for Bournemouth this season than Surman who has started 11 matches and has 2 assists and a goal in the last 4 weeks.
FORWARDS: Callum Wilson, 3.7% owned, Swansea City Vs AFC Bournemouth.
If I don’t recommend a player coming off a hat trick, who is just 3.7% owned and playing against a poor team in a terrible run of form then who do I pick? Wilson has good fixtures for the next 4 games.
Christian Benteke, 38.9% owned, Crystal Palace Vs Stoke City.
I know, I saw his miss last week but Palace are desperate. They aren’t playing badly but aren’t getting the wins needed to move up the League. Benteke has the power to affect the bruising Stoke defence in the latest edition of a must win game for the Eagles.
Andre Gray, 24% owned, Newcastle United Vs Watford.
Gray has stepped up to the plate during Troy Deeney’s suspension with an assist in each of the last 2 matches. With fantasy superstar Richarlison surely already taken Gray can help you claim some reflected glory this weekend.
