FPL Draft Tips- FPL Robinson’s Streaming Tips Gameweek 18: The Importance Of Being Idle

So I had a few ideas for pieces this week but a bad few weeks has seen me into a FPL depression!

Key factors being:

Marvin Zeegelaar autosubbing in for Ben Mee when he got sent off

Someone beating me to Nick Pope in waivers only to bench him anyway. (I’m top of my draft league so always last pick in waiver order. Something else for the Official version to look at)

Benching Koscielny for Azpilicueta

6 blanks out of 7 attackers in the midweek games

So instead of going on tilt and chasing points I’m taking a step back having a week off. I’m happy with my teams in general and don’t want to rage jump on to bandwagons.

Hopefully I’ll be back with a clear head, some green arrows and free transfers for the Christmas games!

Here are the streaming tips for GW18

Defender: Arthur Masuako, West Ham (STO A)
Currently playing in the Alonso role, Masuako has contributed 2 clean sheets in a row and looks good to add an attacking contribution soon – 10 dribbles against Chelsea and a disallowed assist against Arsenal – especially against Stoke. Regular readers will know my thoughts on Stoke. Flakier than the pastry on your grandmas Christmas buffet sausage rolls.

Midfielder: Junior Stanislas, Bournemouth (LIV H)
Stanislas is a perfect representation of his club, when he’s good he’s irresistible, when he’s bad he’s appalling. Stanislas has been known to get some unbelievable hauls in the past , 21 v Hull last season, and with some in form forwards to play with against Liverpool he could be due another huge score.

Forward: Shinji Okazaki, Leicester (CRY)
20 points in his last 2 matches could have been even more if Perez hadn’t nicked a goal off him at St James Park.
The ck on Palace has definitely disappeared under Hodgsons careful management but they have still only kept 2 clean sheets in 12 and Leicester should have enough to notch up a few more this weekend. Incidentally I would also recommend some Watford forwards against Huddersfield but we try to not tip the same players week after week.

Good luck this week, I’m off to watch the Ashes and forget about FPL!
