FPL Draft Tips: Friday Free Agents Gameweek 30

Each week you should be scanning the free agent arket in your mini league looking for value pick ups that other managers have missed. These players won’t cost you your place in the Waiver Queue but can provide the extra few points you need on a short term basis. Here we give a full lineup of potential free agent players for Gameweek 30. The rules are that only one player per club can be selected at each position (Eg. Can’t name 4 Burnley defenders etc). All ownership stats from http://www.draftfantasyfootball.co.uk

< You can learn more about this transfer tactic (called “streaming”) in our article FPL Draft Transfer Tactics: Streaming. >

Last week saw the Streaming Tips score an impressive 52 Pts which was actually more than my actual team did! This weeks Tips are very much with Blank Gameweek 31 in mind as only 8 sides will have a fixture due to the FA Cup Quarter Finals.

GOALKEEPER: Jonas Lössl, 22.5% owned, Huddersfield Town Vs Swansea City.

Huddersfield have kept 5 clean sheets in 9 home Premier League matches against non Top 6 opposition. Their low ownership levels throughout the squad coupled with the fact that they are at home both this week and in BGW31 (Vs Palace) makes them the ideal Streaming option and Lössl should rack up a few saves along the way.

DEFENDERS: Christopher Schindler, 5.4% owned, Huddersfield Town Vs Swansea City.

Huddersfield have consecutive home matches, including in BGW31 when they face Palace. Schindler is a Bonus Points beast and his 12 Bonus Pts this season are the most by any Defender outside the Top 6.

Wes Morgan, 1.7% owned, West Bromwich Albion Vs Leicester City.

7 out of the Foxes remaining 9 fixtures are against teams outside the top 6 and this weekends matchup looks perfect for Leicester’s counter attacking style with the bottom of the table Baggies in must win mode.

Aaron Cresswell, 7.3% owned, West Ham United Vs Burnley.

Despite their poor away form West Ham only lost 1 of their last 8 at the Olympic Stadium and like last week Aaron Cresswell can provide an attacking spark from the left.

MIDFIELDERS: Junior Stanislas, 2.4% owned, AFC Bournemouth Vs Tottenham Hotspur. (WBA GW31)

Theo Walcott, 33.2% owned, Everton Vs Brighton & Hove Albion. (STK GW31)

Rajiv Van La Parra, 0.2% owned, Huddersfield Town Vs Swansea City. (CRY GW31)

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 15.8% owned, Manchester United Vs Liverpool. (WAT GW31)

Matt Phillips, 5.3% owned, West Bromwich Albion Vs Leicester City. (BOU GW31)

Pushing the Blank Gameweek 31 agenda I’ll overlook other possibilities in favour of 5 MID’s who offer an opportunity for a 2 week pickup. Anyone looking for a Huddersfield Town midfield option should study the Friday press conference of Terriers manager David Wagner and check the availability of Aaron Mooy and Alex Pritchard who both have slight injury doubts at the time of writing.

FORWARDS: Cenk Tosun, 4.2% owned, Everton Vs Brighton & Hove Albion.

Steve Mounie, 10.6% owned, Huddersfield Town Vs Swansea City.

Both these Forwards have matches in GW31 as Mounie completes a clean sweep of Huddersfield players and Tosun was on the shortlist for this column last week before making his mark with a goal in Everton’s defeat to Burnley. Other forwards who may still be available in some mini leagues over the next 2 GW’s are Callum Wilson (13.9% owned) and Troy Deeney (14.2% owned) who has been on great form and will relish the opportunity to get at an Arsenal defence who have travelled to Milan in Europa League action midweek.
