The final week of the Champions League second round ties is upon us. The first three rounds have been fairly predictable with no huge shocks as of yet. Tottenham can count themselves unlucky to be out, PSG wilted in the face of quality opposition and defences have not been on top.

The last round of fixtures consists of

Manchester United 0 Sevilla 0
Roma 1 Shakhtar 2

Besiktas 0 Bayern Munich 5
Barcelona 1 Chelsea 1

The Roma Shakhtar game could go either way and only the Ukranian sides midfielders of Bernard and Fred remotely appeal, Bayern Munich are in identical positions to Liverpool and Manchester City last week and are best off avoiding.

Manchester United were at their defensive best in snuffing out “the greatest attack in the history of the game TM” on Saturday as Salah, Mane and Firmino had no shots on goal and backing the Manchester United defence in their tie on Tuesday could be a way to gain points this week.

Barcelona are still winning matches and investing in their players at home will never be a bad idea.

The draw is Friday and we will be back then with a breakdown of the draw to see how it will affect the competition and who has a chance of going all the way and who is going no further than a Jamie Carragher spit.

Here is the pre round tips as some still apply Champions League Fantasy Is Back!!
