So after one of the more entertaining international breaks, well Spain looked awesome and England look to have half a plan, the FPL is back! And the next international break will be the World Cup! Ready for draft fantasy and telegraph games?!
The blank gameweek was a strange one. Anyone with Liverpool assets was flying and the rest of the games provided little. At least Stanislas gained us some points for last weeks picks.
A full set of fixtures this week, with a double gameweek coming in two weeks and a second one to be announced next week, we are coming to the business end of the season.
See below for this weeks picks
Defender: Fermenia, Watford (BOU H)
Kiko Fermenia has been playing in an advanced midfield position and Watford have been in decent form especially at home. Bournemouth are as inconsistent as the cricketing worlds attitude to ball tampering and Fermenia can take advantage.
Midfielder: Shelvey, Newcastle (HUD H)
Shelvey is having a decent season and with his range of passing and dynamism really should be in the England squad. I’m not really sure why he’s not in there, there must be an obvious reason. Ah that’s it his tackling and attitude make him a huge liability. Huddersfield are sinking and off the back of two poor home results could lose this six pointer on their way to relagation.
Forward: Austin, Southampton (WHU A)
Austin is back in training and looks set to be picked as Mark Hughes looks to spark up his attack. West Ham will be on edge given their last home game and if the players are rioting with fans Austin can get Southampton off to a great start under Hughes.
Saturday:Pickford; Holebas; Mahrez, Gross; Lukaku
Sunday: Butland; Bellerin; Hazard, Son; Aubameyang
Good luck and happy easter
